By the numbers: Blackmon carried 19 times for 214 yards and five touchdowns (9, 44, 1, 27 and 13 yards) in a 41-6 victory over Hinds AHS in a key Region 6-2A game. For the season, Blackmon has rushed for 614 yards and scored 14 TDs for the Saints (5-1).

Blackmon has 78 career touchdowns, tying him with Warren Central's Brian Darden (1992-94),
Hancock's Terrance Goff (1987-91) and Ripley's Vashon Pearson (1998-2000). Weir's Dicenzo
Miller holds the state record (118) set from 1994-97.
